In partnership with the San Diego Tourism Authority, we crafted a cinematic love letter to this special place capturing the rare balance between adventure and ease that defines the destination.

Guided by a visual language of textured close-ups, immersive movement, and expansive coastal reveals, the film invites viewers into moments that feel discovered rather than staged. Every sequence was designed to place the audience inside the experience, transforming a destination guide into a sensory journey.

The result is a visually rich campaign that elevates tourism content beyond information, creating desire, inspiring exploration, and positioning La Jolla as one of California’s most compelling coastal escapes. xo, ENJET

“A World Away” for the San Diego Tourism Authority was a large-scale cinematic production that transformed Coronado Island into a fully built visual universe of timeless coastal luxury. Designed as a flagship destination campaign, ENJET deployed a crew of over 40 cast and crew to capture the island across its most iconic locations including Hotel del Coronado, Loews Coronado Bay, Glorietta Bay, and beyond – while engineering a series of highly crafted, cinematic set pieces that elevated the storytelling beyond traditional tourism content.

From planting wild grass in the sand and building a fireside movie screening beneath the stars in front of the Del, to lighting an intimate piano performance from scratch to feel entirely candlelit, every moment was intentionally constructed to feel effortless on camera while requiring precise creative orchestration behind the scenes. The production expanded across gondola sequences on the bay, a custom-built sandcastle installation, a choreographed beachfront spin class, and a fully designed pier-side dinner experience complete with bespoke lighting, food styling, and environmental design.

The result is a sweeping destination film that balances scale with intimacy capturing Coronado not just as a location, but as a world carefully composed. A world of quiet luxury, layered experiences, and cinematic moments that feel both elevated and deeply lived-in, reinforcing the island as the ultimate “escape within an escape.”
